Review: Immortals of Meluha

Immortals of Meluha
Immortals of Meluha is an enthralling read for most ages(rated 11+). Most people know Lord Shiva as a god, or the Mahadev(the god of gods). But what if he was only a simple man, a man whose victories re-cast him as a legend? In 1900 B.C., in a place that modern people now call the Indus Valley Civilization, the story begins. Its current inhabitants call it the land of Meluha, a mere trace of the great empire Lord Rama created centuries ago. The Suryavanshi rulers that rule there face the threat of extinction, as their main river, the Saraswati, begins to dry. They also face terrorist attacks from the eastern land of the Chandravanshis, who have allied with the Nagas, an ancient race of deformed humans. The Suryavanshi’s only hope is an ancient legend stating that when evil is at epic proportions and all hope seems lost, a hero will emerge. Is Shiva, a rough Tibetan immigrant, really that person? Does even have the strength to take on the task at hand? Read the story to find out, and I am sure it will keep you at the edge of your seat until the last page.
